  • The Most Inexpensive Way To Whiten Your Teeth

Most teeth whiteners are quite expensive. They can also be quite messy and even though they do whiten your teeth they won't necessarily stay that white forever. There is, however, one very easy and inexpensive way to whiten: cut back on coffee and tea. Yes, I said it and I know it's hard for most people but it really does work. I used to have coffee every day. I now only have coffee very occasionally and my teeth are noticeably whiter. Not only is this the cheapest way to whiten your teeth but you end up saving money in the long run. If you can't stop drinking coffee and/or tea altogether, try cutting back on the amount you have. Your teeth will thank you for it, and so will your wallet.

  • Gift With Purchases: Are They Worth Your Money?

Everyone loves to get free stuff, so when you see, for example, your favourite make-up line having a gift with purchase (GWP), of course you're going to check it out, but should you get it? To see if it is really worth your money, first ask yourself some questions. 1) Do you need to buy anything? Sure, you might be able to rationalize that you will eventually need some cleanser, moisturizer, etc. but if I don't need anything at the time I don't get it, that simple. 2) Does what you need to buy add up to how much you need to spend to get the GWP? There is always a certain amount that you need to spend to get it, and one item doesn't always get you there. However, two items could end up being alot more. 3) Will you use most of the items in the GWP? Sure, that shade of lipstick looks nice, but will it suit your colouring? And yes, everyone needs a moisturizer, but is that particular one good for your skin type? If you're not going to use almost all of the items, keep your money. So, while everyone likes free stuff, always consider these questions. You could end up saving yourself money in the long run, something else everyone likes.

About Me

  • I have been reading fashion and beauty magazines forever and first started wearing real make-up when I was 13. I have more perfume samples than I know what to do with. I'm interested in offering beauty advice and answering all questions related to this topic.
